Honoured to be selected for the fourth time in the National Photographic Portrait Prize, with my portrait Blue Tongue.

This image of Annabelle and Dakota captures a pivotal moment in their journey into adolescence — a space between innocence and self-discovery. Part of my ongoing series Tween Twilight, it reflects my fascination with the fleeting transition from childhood to teenhood — something I’m witnessing in my own daughter and remembering from my own past.

I first spotted them hanging out in town, struck by their bold friendship. I raced home to grab my camera, telling them: “Don’t go anywhere!”

The opening night at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra was a beautiful celebration of Australian photography.

Honoured to have two images — The Boys of 2200 and Last Swim — selected for the Galah Regional Photography Prize.

This prize was created to encourage excellence in contemporary photography from regional Australia, with the aim of celebrating, supporting, and advancing the work of regional photographers.

The opening night at the NERAM in Armidale was an absolute blast!
