BURNING MAN- RITES OF PASSAGE
The Burning Man Festival sees up to 50 000 people from all around the world gather in United States state of Nevada’s Black Rock Desert to create a temporary city known as Black Rock City. Taking place on an ancient lake bed known as the Playa the festival is dedicated to community, art, radical self-expression and self-reliance.
Leaving one week later, the participants, otherwise known as Burners, leave no trace.
